Latest updates to construction Site Operating Procedures

The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has again updated its Construction Site Operating Procedures to reflect recent changes in government guidance for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The changes from Version 6 to Version 7 are minor in nature, but include:

  • Updated guidance on self-isolation
  • The removal of the need to display a QR code in site canteens
  • The need for contractors to act if five or more cases are identified within a 14-day period, under Public Health England guidance

The latest guidance also includes a self-isolation flowchart setting out the actions that contractors must take if a work has COVID-19 or needs to self-isolate.
