Aegis four awarded APS 2015 registration

Four members of the Aegis team are celebrating after passing the Association for Project Safety (APS) CDM2015 exam to secure their places on the APS Register of Members 2015.

Aegis technical director Tim Hudson, director and principal designer Garry Roylance, CDM coordinator and principal designer Andy Edwards, and principal designer Emma Eldershaw all received the nationally recognised accreditation as part of Aegis’ commitment to maintaining the highest and most current standards.

Registered Member (2015) status demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of the new CDM regulations and other important health and safety issues.

Entrants are tested on a variety of construction-related topics including Work at Height, Temporary Works, Asbestos, Lead, Silica Dust, Construction 2025, HSE Construction Plan of Work, and BIM.

Aegis commercial director Adam Kaley said: “Registered status signifies that Tim, Garry, Andy and Emma possess the most up-to-date and enhanced insight into project safety. Clients can feel assured that the team has completed a rigorous external process which demonstrates they can deliver expertise on high risk and complex projects.”

The 2015 register was established following the implementation of the new CDM regulations in April this year.
