Aegis cements commitment to quality standards following accreditation renewal
Aegis has retained three of its International Standards Organisation (ISO) accreditations, further strengthening its commitment to providing clients with the highest levels of service.
Following an annual three-day audit it was determined that Aegis has maintained its dedication to continuous improvements, demonstrating best practice in areas such as sustainability and health and safety in the workplace.
An ISO accreditation is a formal recognition of the competence of a company working to specified standards. The renewal means Aegis has met the requirements for the following:
• ISO 9001 – Quality Management
• ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
• ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management
The Quality Management standard is based on a number of principles including customer focus, and the approach to continual improvement. It assures clients that they will receive consistent, good-quality products and services from Aegis.
The Environmental Management standard is aimed at companies that require practical tools to manage their environmental responsibilities. It provides assurance to employees and external stakeholders that Aegis is constantly measuring and improving its environmental impact.
The Occupational Health and Safety Management standard is awarded to companies like Aegis that display a commitment to improving employee safety, reducing workplace risks and creating better, safer working conditions.
ISOQAR Alcumus – an independent inspection organisation – is one of the most recognised certification bodies in the UK, and as it’s accredited by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS), it allows Aegis to display the ‘crown and tick’ logo on its website and marketing collateral.
