Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 an organisation or individual for whom a project is carried out must make sure that the Principal Designer, Designers, Principal Contractors and Contractors that they propose to appoint have the skills, knowledge, experience, training (SKE&T) and organisational capability required for their role.

To be deemed compliant with the Regulations, an organisation will need specific knowledge about the tasks that they will be expected to perform and the risks associated with these tasks. Clients can conduct SKE&T Assessments themselves or, alternatively, may choose to use the services of an independent organisation such as Aegis.

Aegis has personnel experienced in carrying out SKET Assessments on organisations on behalf of Clients and Principal Contractors.
