Aegis have worked closely with Hopwood Hall College in recent years on the strategic development of the College’s facilities at both the Rochdale and Middleton campuses.
In 2011 Aegis were appointed as CDM Co-ordinators for the project to re-clad the Ashworth and Rudman Buildings at Hopwood Hall College’s Rochdale Campus. Using a specialist cladding contractor the works were completed in June 2012.
This project was followed in 2013 by a £1.7M refurbishment of the Rochdale Campus buildings which Aegis were again appointed as CDM Co-ordinators for.
This involved a demolition and site clearance prior to construction of a new 6,350ft2 single storey extension to house a restaurant and training kitchen.
A new 1,600ft2 social space was also built within the existing structure to provide additional vocational training facilities.
